Miles was born in Knox at about 1847 (AUG 1842), a son of David Swart and Catherine Swart. David Swart was the son of Johannes Swart (30 OCT 1766 in Switz Kill Valley, Berne, Albany Co, NY - ) and Eva Leib (15 OCT 1778 in Knox, Albany Co, NY - }
