Edgar Stone was born in Westerlo, Albany County, NY in about 1835.[1],a son of Cyrus and Ruth Stone.

He married Mary E. Freleigh born in Westerlo at about 1839, a daughter of John and Elsie Freleigh on or about 1856 and had the following known children:

Military Experience

Sgt. Edgar Stone was remembered for his service three decades later by Private Milo H. Clark, who was also in Company K.[5]

Death

His wife, Mary, died in 1907. Edgar died in 1910. Both are buried at the Hannacroix Rural Cemetery in Westerlo.
