Mr. Stafford went to Schenectady when a young man and entered the General Electric company. He worked there until four years ago when he retired. Since that time he had been engaged in cabinet making.

Jesse H. Stafford; 73, died Friday morning, July 9, at his home, 2 Wagner avenue, Schenectady.

Born in Altamont Sept. 28, 1874, Mr. Stafford went to Schenectady when a young man and entered the General Electric company. He worked there until four years ago when he retired. Since that time he had been engaged in cabinet making.

He was the son of the late Edward and Vrinea Stafford of Altamont. He was a member of Stanford Methodist Church, and of Champion Lodge, I. O. O. F., of Schenectady.

Mr. Stafford is survived by his wife, Adella Radliff Stafford; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Haskins of Schenectady and Mrs. Gordon P. Tripps of Long Branch, N. J.; two sons, Floyd Stafford of Tenafly, N. J., and Alfred E. Stafford of Bethlehehm, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Grace Burns, Mrs. Sylvia Garrison, Mrs. Astella Chrysler and Mrs. Frank Brandow, all of Schenectady; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Bond's Funeral home, Schenectady. Burial was in Memory's Gardens.

Jesse H. Stafford of Schenectady has been spending a couple of days here with Mr. and Mrs. Jacob May. Mr. Stafford is a former resident of this village, and is a son of the late Edmund Stafford. Mr. Stafford has been in the employ of the General Electric company since 1900.
