DEATH OF JAMES SECOR OCCURS AT ALTAMONT

James Secor, formerly of Thompson Lake and of recent years residing in Altamon, died at the Memmorial hospital, Albany, on Tuesday, Jan. 19th, after a short illness of pneumonia.

A short funeral service was held at the Altamont residence, conducted by Rev. H. Curtis Ficken, pastor of the Altamont Reformed church., at 1 o'clock today (Friday). Services were held from the Thompson's Lake Reformed church at 2 o'clock. Interment at Lake Rural cemetery.

Mr. Secor was in his 75th year, and is survived by his wife; three brothers, Eli Secor of Voorheesville, Chairles Secor of Delmar, and Nicholas Secor of Old Forge, Fourth Lake; also a sister, Mrs. Channing Clickman of Altamont.

Mrs. Gertrude Sigsbee, mother-in-law of James Secor, is very sick. She seems to be slightly improved. She is 87 years of age.

Mrs. James Secor
Clara Sigsbee, wife of James Secor, entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning, January 28th. (1922) Tbe funeral was held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at her late home and 11 o'clock at the church. Rev. J. Van Ess officiating assisted by Rev. George O. Reid. Undertaker Fredendall of Altamont had charge of the funeral. The bearers were Bert Ketcham, Alfred Brunk. Lauras Ssgendorf and Charles Pitcher. Burial was made In Lake rural cemetery. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Mrs. Secor was 67 years of age and had lived here nearly all her life, and in her passing we lose a kind friend and neighbor. She will be sadly missed in the home, where only the husband survives, to whom we extend our heartfelt sympathy; also to the sisters. Mrs. Kate Hallenbeck and Mrs. Jacob Hallenbeck. and numerous oilier relatives, who mourn her loss.
