Leonard C. Sant was born in Knox (or Sterling, Cayuga Co., NY) at about 1828, the son of Christain Sant. His brother was:

Leonard died on August 10, 1886 and is buried at Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling, Cayuga Co., NY. Julia died in 1910 and is buried beside him.
