Berne - Ralph William Rendo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rendo of Berne, was discharged from the U. S. Navy May 20 (1946) at Lido Beach, L. I. Rendo entered the service August 16, 1943, and trained at Sampson, and at Patrol Bombers Squadron, Pensacola, Fla. He served in the Panama zone until the summer of 1945, and was at Corpus Christi, Texas for eight months. He attended Berne-Knox Central school before entering service.
