She is survived by seven children, Carol (John) Denton, Sally Tubbs, Kathy (Ron) Hempstead, Peggy (Ron) Fish, Lori (Scott) Marra, Lindy (Mike) Slingerland and Jamie (Cathy) Tubbs; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Tubbs; 25 grandchildren; 29 great -grandchildren; a sister, Helen (Walt) Coulter; and a brother, Richard (Tita) Quay. She is predeceased by her husband, Merlin Tubbs who died in 1969; son, Tom Tubbs and her brothers, Thaddeus, Donald, Robert and James. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, at Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, followed by an interment in Knox Cemetery.
