She was born in Brnik Czechslovakia, Nov. 1, 1887. She came to this country in 1907. She was married to William Shedina that

Roman C. Przysiecki

KNOX — Roman C. Przysiecki, a World War II veteran and machinist, died on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006. He was 93. Born in Guilderland, he was the son of the late Roman and Mary Przysiecki. He served in the United States Army during World War II and worked at the General Electric Company in Schenectady as a machinist, retiring in 1975.

Mr. Przysiecki was a life member of the Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7062, the Helderberg American Legion, and the Knox Fire Company. He was also a long-time member of the Altamont Horseshoe League and the American Legion Bowling League. His first wife, Reneta Przysiecki, died in 1976 and his daughter, Gail Clark, died in 1978. He is survived by his wife, Rose M. Przysiecki, of Knox; his granddaughter, Yvonne Clark, of Albany, four stepchildren, Gerald T. Nopper Jr. of Seminole, Fla.; Alice M. Dean of Rotterdam, Marilyn R. Rickard of Knox, and Robert M. Nopper of Knox; six step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by a brother, William Przysiecki, and his wife, Ruth, of Schoharie; a stepbrother, Stephen Shedina, and his wife, Betty, of Knox; and several nieces and nephews. Three sisters died before him — Mary Smith, Helen Sprung, and Julia Riner — as did his stepbrother, William Shedina and a stepsister, Mary Shedina.

A funeral service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery on Saturday at noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Albany City Mission, 259 South Pearl St., Albany, NY 12202, or to the Helderberg Ambulance Squad, Post Office Box 54, East Berne, NY 12059.

KNOX -- Roman C. Przysiecki, 93, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006.

Born in Guilderland, he was the son of the late Roman and Mary Przysiecki. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked at the GE Company in Schenectady as a machinist, retiring in 1975. Mr. Przysiecki was a life member of the Boyd Hilton VFW Post #7062, the Helderberg American Legion and the Knox Fire Co. He also was a longtime member of the Altamont Horseshoe League and the American Legion Bowling League. He was predeceased by his first wife, Reneta Przysiecki in 1976 and by his daughter, Gail Clark in 1978.

Survivors include his wife, Rose M. Przysiecki of Knox; his granddaughter, Yvonne Clark of Albany; four stepchildren, Gerald T. Nopper Jr. of Seminole, Fla., Alice M. Dean of Rotterdam, Marilyn R. Rickard of Knox and Robert M.
