Marriage & Children
At about 1875, Humphrey married Elizabeth, who was born in August of 1846, a daughter of Benjamin and Lydia Palmer. They had three children, none of whom survived to 1900.

Humphrey died in 1909. His widow, Elizabeth, received her pension based on his service on May 12, 1909.
