Birth

DeForest(Bud)Osterhout was born in 1908 the son of Thomas B. Osterhout and Lavinia Vanwee

Education

Bud graduated from Bethlemhem Highschool

Occupation

Bud was a partner with his brothers Wyman and Everett in the ownership and operation of the "Indian Ladder Lodge" a very popular nightclub outside of Albany N.Y.

Marriage and Children

Bud married Helen Brownell in 1939 and they had two children,Willard Osterhout b-1940 and John Osterhout b-1944

Death

DeForest Osterhout died on Feb. 19, 1956 and is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in New Salem
