Orville A. Merrihew was born circa 1844 (November 27, 1843[1]) in Berne to David Merrihew (B. 1813, D. Apr 11, 1885) and Adaline St. John (B. abt 1824, D. Aug 1899).[2] He was their oldest son of four children.[2]
