TWARDOWSKY — Michael Twardowsky, a former resident of Middleburgh and Berne, passed away on April 28, at the age of 48 at Andrews Air Force Base hospital. He had retired several years ago after 22 years service with the rank of warrant officer. He is survived by his wife and daughters, Susan, Michele and Carol, of Washington, Mary Ann of Cedar Hill; his mother, Mrs. S. ALTAMONT -- Roger A. Maslowsky, 56, died Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady. Roger was born in Albany and lived in the Altamont area for most of his life. He worked for the New York State Department of Transportation in Voorheesville as a laborer for 23 years. Survivors include his wife, Eileen Rapant Maslowsky; two children, Connie Maslowsky-Carusone of Guilderland and Roger Joseph Maslowsky of Knox; his mother, Mary Maslowsky of Schenectady; two brothers, Gary Maslowsky of Westerlo and Joseph Maslowsky of Altamont; one sister, Rita Shafer of Schenectady; four stepchildren, Darlene Brig of Pennsylvania, Kathleen Zimmer of Duanesburg, Bonnie Mann and Rick J. Eldred, both of Schoharie; a special nephew, Craig Maslowsky; and Roger's Miss America, his niece, Stacey Maslowsky. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, William Maslowsky. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont. Friends and relatives may call on Saturday after 3:00 p.m. Those who wish may make contributions to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308 or the Rotterdam Rescue Squad.
