Life

Russell Lee appears to have lived most or all of his life in Rensselaerville, Albany County, NY. In 1840 Russell was living with his young family in Rensselaerville next to his father Richard Lee Sr. and brother Richard Lee Jr..[2] His father Richard Sr. died in the 1840s. A decade later, Russell was documented as a farmer, who owned property.[4] He continued to live near his brothers William, Hiram and Richard Jr. His mother Anna was living with her son Richard Jr. In 1860, Russell was still working as a farmer on land valued $4000.00.[5] Next store lived his brother Elim Lee and his young family. Two and three houses away on the other side respectively were his brothers Elisha Lee and William Lee. After Russell's death, his wife Sally lived with their son Myron Lee Sr. and was recorded in the 1870 Census.[6]

Death

Russell Lee died before 1870 probably in Rensselaerville, Albany County, NY.[6] His wife Sally survived him, however her death date is unknown.[6] Their burial locations have not been found.[1]
