Birth
Benjamin Lee was born on November 12, 1812 a son of Michael Lee and Sarah Finch. [1]
Marriage & Children
On February 1, 1837 he married at the Lutheran Church, Sarah (Sally)Auchampaugh who was born on March 5, 1814 a daughter of Jacob Auchampaugh and Maria Turk. [1] They had the following known children:
- Sarah Lee b. 1845, married Benjamin Gallup
- James Lee b. about 1839, married Maria D. VanNatta
- Ezra Lee b. about 1838
- Mary Ellen Lee b. about 1843, married Stephen Delamater
- Michael Lee b. March 3, 1848
Death
Benjamin died on February 3, 1866. His wife, Sally, died on May 21, 1872. Both were buried at Lee Church Cemetery, Knox. [1]
