Judson C. LaPaugh was born on October 18, 1838[1] Oct. 1840[2] in Westerlo.[3] son of David LaPaugh and Polly Mary Vanleuven. His surname was also spelled La Paugh, Laupaugh and Laughpaugh.[4]
