Birth

Allen V. Jones, the son of Manchester Jones (B. abt 1807, D. Nov 17, 1880) and Martha Stalker (B. April 13, 1808, D. June 23, 1880), was born in Berne, Albany County, NY[1] in July 1844.[2] He was one of eleven children.[2]

Allen married a woman named Emma I. about 1871.[2] They had the following children:

Before his service during the Civil War, Allen worked as a farmer.[1]

Death

Allen Jones died after 1900 probably in Albany.[2] He died on December 9, 1917[4] and was buried at the Graceland Cemetery in Albany, NY.
