John W. Ball was born on March 20, 1801 at Berne, Albany Co., NY, a son of William Henry Ball(1763-1846) and Maria Elisabeth Weidman[1]
Marriage & Children
On August 6, 1827, John married Maria Sternberg who was born on September 3, 1807, a daughter of Christian Sternberg and Lydia_____. [1]They had the following children:
- Sarah Elizabeth Ball, born on November 21, 1828[1]
- Elmina Esther Ball, born on June 27, 1830[1]
- Helen Dorcas Ball, born in 1833[1]
- Madison Ball, born in 1841[1]
- Lois Anne Ball, born in 1843[1]
- Mabel Ball born in 1849[1]
- Isabella C. Ball, born in 1849[1]
Death
Maria died on November 22, 1871. John died on June 5, 1873 and is buried at the Berne and Beaverdam Cemetery in Berne. [1]
