—Mr. John J. Hesley, a former resident of this place in the sixties, now of West Shokan, Ulster county, is spending a couple of weeks in this vacinaty renewing old acquaintances and visiting relatives, Mr. Hesley is a half brother of the late Michael Hesley of Knox. He left here when Altamont, then Knowersville, was in its infancy some 40 odd years ago and went down in Ulster county where he engaged as section foreman on the Ulster & Delaware R. R., which position he held until about eight years ago.
