Obituary GLENMONT -- George L. Hoose, 75, died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at the Albany County Nursing Home. Born in West Berne, N.Y., he was the son of the late Leonard and Myrtle Clickman Hoose and lived in the Capital Region for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hoose retired in 1988 from Niagara Mohawk after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Niagara Mohawk 25 year club. He was the husband of Marion J. Bailey Hoose; stepfather of Kathleen Rohl; step-grandfather of Patrick, Stephen and Kathleen Cioffi; brother of Ralph Hoose of Ga., Ginger Digs of Iowa and the late Catherine Nolan, Roscoe and Wesley Hoose. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow the service in Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send contributions to Alzheimer's Association of NENY, 85 Watervliet Avenue, Albany, NY 12206, in memory of George L. Hoose.
