Still in service in 18th NY Cav.___?"[1] He received gunshot wounds to his right leg and right hip for which he was still suffering in 1890.[4]

Death

George died on October 26, 1918 at Bath, NY.[6] His widow, Margaret, received his pension on November 4, 1919
