Jacob Haverly was born about 1819[1] in Berne, Albany County, NY.[2][3]

Jacob Henry Haverly was born in Berne in 1817, a son of John J. Haverly and Maria Eliza Dietz

Jacob married Susan (Susannah) Allen who was born on July 27, 1821, a daughter of John Allen and Anna Eva Weidman, in January of 1846. They lived in Middleburgh. They had the following children:

Death

Jacob died on November 19, 1864[2] of disease at the Second Army Corps Hospital in City Point[2], Va. He was buried at City Point National Cemetery in grave number F1164.[2]
