Albert was born on January 2, 1920 in Brooklyn, New York.

Marriage and Children

Albert married Margaret Jones and they had a son, Albert, and two daughters--Linda & Maureen Hartmann.

Occupation

He was self-employed in the real estate business and formerly owned and operated various pet shops before residing in Westerlo.

Military Service

Mr. Hartmann served in World War II as a marine.

Death

He died February 8, 1994 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albany, New York.

Obituary Albert Hartmann, 74, formerly of Westerlo, died Tuesday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center after a short illness. Mr. Hartmann was born in Brooklyn. He was self-employed in the real estate business and formerly owned and operated various pet shops before residing in Westerlo. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Selkirk Kingdom Hall. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Jones Hartmann of Westerlo; a son, Albert Hartmann of Middleburgh; two daughters, Linda Place of Westerlo and Maureen Ressler of Greenport; a brother, Marty Hartmann of Roxbury; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Selkirk Kingdom Hall, Selkirk. Contributions can be made to the Selkirk Kingdom Hall, c/o the Hartmann Family, County Route 410 Box 197C, Westerlo, NY 12193. Arrangements were with the Bates & Anderson Funeral Home in Hudson.
