Clara E. Pecoraro DELMAR — Clara Dexter Taylor Pecoraro, 83, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Lutheran Home in Delmar. She was born in Delanson, the daughter of the late Myron and Evalena Dexter. She lived in this area for many years before moving to New Jersey in 1955 and Colorado in 1971. In 1986, she moved to Schenectady and then to the Good Samaritan Home in 2000. She worked as a custodian in School District #14 in Westlake, Colo, for 12 years before retiring in 1983. She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Schenectady and Trinity United Methodist Church in Coeymans Hollow.

Her husbands, James H. Pecoraro and Jacob Taylor, died before her. Survivors include: one daughter, Evelyn C. Stone of West Coxsackie; two daughters-in-law, Rose Taylor of Coeymans, and Barbara Taylor of Ocala, Fla.; one stepson, Larry Pecoraro of Saddlebrook, N.J.; one step daughter, Mary Ellen Inserra of Lodi, N. J.; one brother, Willard Dexter of Easley, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one greatgreat- granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Two sons, David A. Taylor and Jacob O. Taylor; a stepson, Kenneth V. Taylor; a brother, Harold Dexter; a sister, Frances Rhodes; and an infant daughter all died before her.

Funeral services were held on Monday at the Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Burial was in Memory's Garden in Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Nazarene, Schenectady, N.Y. or Trinity United Methodist Church, Coeymans Hollow, N.Y.

Frederick Bashwinger

Funeral services were conducted last Saturday for Frederick W. Bashwinger, 71, of R. D. l,.Altamont, an employee of the Albany Public Works-department until his retirement eight years ago. He died July 22 in Albany hospital. Mr. Bashwinger was a life-long resident of Albany. He was the husband of the late Pauline Chester Bashwinger. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold Dexter and Mrs. Gordon Hendricks; two sons, Andrew and Edward Bashwinger, and eight grandchildren. Services were conducted in Zwack & Son Mortuary., Albany, with the Rev. Arthur F. Steinke of St. Pual Lutheran church officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery.
