George Garry. 69, of Long Road, East Berne, died Thursday, Jan. 14, at St. Clare's Hospital, Schenectady, after a long illness. He was born in Bloomfield, N.J., Aug. 15, 1918, the son of Charles and Johanna Garry.

He was a World War II Army veteran and worked as a machinist for General Electric for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Haluska Garry, four daughters, Joan Morrow, Susan Michaels, Barbara Pitcher and Elaine Decker, all of Berne; two sons, Thomas and Michael Garry, both of Berne; one brother, Harry Garry of Mast Berne, Severn' grandchildren and one greatgrandson.
