KNOX. The will of John G. Gallup, late of Knox bequeaths to his neice, Mary E. Clift, $2,500 and divides the residue equally between John G. Crary, Ann M. Carter, Horace, Hannah, Alida, Charles, James and Adelaide Gallup and Avery Dennison, except one-tenth to John C, Nancy E. and Eunice I. Bogardus.
John C. Bogardus is named executor, and the date is September 14, 1888.

Altamont Enterprise - March 9, 1889

Mrs. Eva Gallup died Friday, August 18, 1897, aged 93 years. Her funeral was held from her late residence on Monday at 12:30, Rev. Henry Lockwood officiated. Deceased is survived by two sons and three daughters, Dr. James H. Gallop, of Delmar, Horace Gallup, Hannah Gallop, Alida Gallop and Adilade Gallup, of Knox.
