Walter C. Gaige died February 13, 1937. He is buried in Knox in Lee's Church Cemetery - Walter C. Gaige 1872 - 1937

Walter C. Gaige, 64, dies after long illness

Walter C. Gaige, for 19 years a resident of Altamont died Saturday morning after an illness of six years. He would have been 65 March 21st.

Mr. Gaige is survived by his wife, the former Effie Henion, one son, Frank: one sister, Mrs. Marietta Cooke, of Broome Center, two brothers, Rev. Frank E. Gaige of Milford, N. J., and Edward Gaige of Little Ferry, N. J. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held from the Fredendall Funeral home at Altamont, Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Dr. Otto E. Voigt, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church of Altamont officiated. Burial was in the Henion plot at Lee's Corners Cemetery.
