Mr. Dougall was born in Schenectady, the son of the late Arthur and Nellie Dougall.
He served in the civil conservation corps and enlisted in the United States Army in 1941. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Dougall saw action as an engineer with heavy field artillery in the European Theater. He later worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local 106 in Albany.
He was the husband of the late Josephine Antalek Dougall, who died in 1977.
He is survived by three children, David A. Dougall of Diamond Point, N.Y., Susan J. Stevens of Franklin, N.J., and Paul M. Dougall of Schenectady; five grandchildren, Donna Dougall, Shannon Stevens, Patrick Dougall, Edward Stevens, and Jessica Dougall; and one greatgrandson, Marcos Reyes.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at the Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Burial was in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.

He later worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local 106 in Albany. He was the husband of the late Josephine Antalek Dougall, who died in 1977.
He is survived by three children, David A. Dougall of Diamond Point, N.Y.; Susan J. Stevens of Franklin, N.J. and Paul M. Dougall of Schenectady; five grandchildren, Donna Dougall, Shannon Stevens, Patrick Dougall, Edward Stevens and Jessica Dougall; and one great-grandson, Marcos Reyes. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, N.Y. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
