Thomas was born on September 24, 1802 in Berne, a son of Thomas Denison and Mary Crary. [1]


Marriage & Children

At about 1824 he married Gertrude Charity Shultes who was born on September 19, 1802 at Berne, a daughter of Matthius Shultes and Gertrude Post. [1] Their children:

  • Edward Crary Denison was born on January 4, 1825. His wife was Margaret, and he lived in Schoharie County. He served in the Civil War[1]
  • John Shultes Denison was born on December 27, 1826[1]
