Died.<br> Sunday evening, at 8:30, John G. Crary, nearly 87 years old. Mr. Crary was born in and has always lived in this town. Besides farming, his father or himself, carried on the business of pill-box manufacturing for more than 70 years. Mr. Crary was well known throughout this entire section, respected and honored by all. He was very domestic in his life and loved to have his family and friends around him. For nearly 85 years he has been a communicant of the Reformed church of this place. <br>He leaves one son and four daughters, his wife having preceded him the past year, a sister, Mrs. M. E. Clift, of this place, and a brother, B. D. Crary, of Texas. Funeral services at the house, 15 inst, at 1 o'clock.

John Gallup Crary was born January 23, 1809[1] in Albany, NY, the son of Nathan Crary (1784 – 1866) and Hannah Gallup (1786 – 1873). His brother and sister were:
