After serving his term of enlistment, he again enlisted, for nine months, in the Tenth Militia Regiment, November, 1862, and again in the Seventh Heavy Artillery Regiment. He was taken prisoner June 16, 1864, and died at Millen prison, from exposure and starvation, November 2, 1864.”
