In Memoriam
Henry Cornwell passed from this life June 5th at Carman, at the residence of his youngest daughter, Mrs. J. B. Wagoner, where be had resided for the past twelve and a half years. He was formerly a resident of the town of Berne where all of his previous life had been spent. He had lived a life of usefulness and activity up to the time of his death, at the advanced age of 90 yean, 6 months and 14 days.
It was a welcome release to him for he had been waiting to join his sainted wife for over sixteen years. He leaves one son, S. W. Cornwell, and two daughters, Mrs. Sanford E. Miller and the above mentioned Mrs. W., six grandchildren and one greatgrandchild, little Gladys Saddlemire, besides many nephews, nieces and cousins, by all of whom he was held in the greatest respect and reverence, knowing as they did his God-fearing life. He will be greatly missed in his home on account of his companionship and his wise counsel and precepts, as his mind retained its clearness until the end. He was remarkable for his mental and physical vigor. His last illness was of twelve days duration and resulted from the contraction of a cold. Medical aid was employed and all that could be done was without avail. "He's overtopped the mountain and reached the vale below."

Deliverance has come.'"
The last sad rites were held at the Christian church, South Berne, and the services were conducted by the aged pastor, Rev. D. P. Warner. Previous to starting on the last journey from his home, prayer was held at the house by Rev. Mr. Herman of Mount Pleasant Reformed church, Schenectady, and the friends of the family were assembled at the house to pay the last tribute of respect.
