Eugene Cook was born July 10, 1846[1],in Berne to Abraham Cook and Jane Crocker.

Occupation

He was for several years engaged in the sale of stove shelves and Horton's washing machines and also the livery business in Illinois, but his principal occupation is farming.[1]

Marriage & Children

In 1869, [1]Eugene married Augusta M. Lounsbury[1], a daughter of Williams Lounsbury[1] and Mary Marilla Reeve. They had three children. [1] They had four known children:

  • Alice M. Cook[1] (1870-1950) wife of Charles Mackey[1]
  • Gracia Cook[1] (1872-1945)
  • Bertha M. Cook (1881-____)
  • Infant Cook (1886-1887)
  • Reba B. Cook[1]

The family attended the Methodist Church[1]

Death

Eugene died in 1926. He was buried with Augusta and their infant in Medusa Cemetery in Medusa.
