Robert W. Clow, Jr. was born Saturday, January 28, 1956, the son of Robert W. Clow, Sr. and Lynne Chase Clow ( - 1985). His siblings were:

  • Daniel Clow (Penny) of Troy
  • John Clow (Delene) of Waterford
  • Lynne Dolan (Bret) of Troy.

Education

Robert Clow was a 1974 graduate of Lansingburgh High School, and later graduated from the Royal Barber School in Schenectady.

Robert W. Clow, Jr. married Mary Anne Page Clow of Brunswick. Their children were:

Deceased Name: CLOW, ROBERT W.

BRUNSWICK -- Robert W. Clow, Jr., 49, of Bald Mountain Road, died Sunday, July 31, 2005, at Albany Medical Center, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born and raised in Troy, he was the husband and best friend of Mary Anne Page Clow of Brunswick. He was a 1974 graduate of Lansingburgh High School, and later graduated from the Royal Barber School in Schenectady. Mr. Clow was the owner of Brunswick Family Hair Care, and was a practicing barber for 22 years.

Bob was known for his love of auto racing. He was a crew member for Phil Arnold's racing team, and a fan of NASCAR, especially Kenny Schraeder #49. He was a former member of the Speigletown Fire Company for many years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church. Bob was adored by his wife Mary Anne, and his friendship and kind nature will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Mary Anne, include his father, Robert W. Clow and his companion Virginia Mann of East Berne; a son, Robert W. Clow III of Averill Park; two step-daughters, Lisa Marie Fox and Jennifer Ann Fox, both of Troy; he was Poppy-Bob to Tyler and Nicholas; brother of Daniel Clow (Penny) of Troy, John Clow (Delene) of Waterford and Lynne Dolan (Bret) of Troy. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his mother, Lynne Chase Clow in 1985.

Funeral services will be at 8:45 a.m. Thursday from the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh and at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Randall P. Patterson, the pastor. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
