Birth

Daniel Chesebrough was born on October 21, 1768 at Stonington, New London Co., CT, a son of Charles and Bridget Chesebrough. [1]


Marriage & Children

He married on April 23, 1797, Anna Denison who was born on February 9, 1776 at Mystic, New London Co., CT, a daughter of Robert Denison and Anna Chesebrough. They had the following known children:

  • Nancy Chesebrough b. September 4, 1800, married Richard Chesebrough
  • Charles Chesebrough b. May 6, 1802
  • Joshua Chesebrough named in his father's will
  • Robert Chesebrough named in his father's will
  • James Chesebrough b. January 21, 1818, married Sarah Van Auken
  • Izrahiah Chesebrough b. August 10, 1820 married Lucretia Amelia Gallup

Death

Daniel died on February 4, 1860 in Knox. Anna died on December 23, 1865 at Knox. Both were buried at the High Point Cemetery in Knox.
