Birth
Harrison Champenois was was born 1840 in Berne, the son of John Champenois Jr. (B. June 8, 1816, D. Mar 22, 1883) and his wife Maria.[1] Harrison had one older sister Eliza Catharine Chamenois.[1] His mother Maria died before 1847.[1]
Early life
He appeared on the census of 1850 with his grandmother Catharine Sternberger Shultes Champenois in the household of his uncle Peter William Shultes and Magdalen West Shultes in the Town of Knox.[2] He was also on the census in Berne in the home of his father John Champenois Jr. and step-mother Eliza Hellicas at Town of Berne, Albany, NY.[3] He appeared on the census of 1 Jun 1860 in the household of his brother-in-law George Washington Keyser and sister Eliza Catherine Chamenois at Fulton, Schoharie, NY.[4]

Death
Harrison died of disease on March 8, 1862 in New York. His burial is presumed to have taken place where he died.
