Altamont Man Left $13,000 in 1942 Will

The will of Edward R. Cassidy, former Altamont resident who died in Port en Baden, France, during the German occupation in 1942, was admitted to probate this week by Surrogate Rogan. Mr. Cassidy left the bulk of his $13,000 estate to his widow, Mrs. Nelle I. Cassidy, Altamont. Signatures of two witnesses to the will, Simone D. Hardy and John R. Wood of Paris, could not be attested until after the war.
