Henry Bunzey was born ABT 1787 in Knox, Albany, New York [1], the son of Hendrik Bunzey (Heinderich Zacharis Bonze) (Bef. 1755 - ). Hendrik Bunzey probably settled in the Berne area circa 1800. His brother was:

The Knox Sesquicentennial Booklet probably got their list from History of the County of Albany, so a misspelling in the Pension list carries through. No record of Henry Bunzer exists anywhere, but a Henry Bunzey was living in Knox in 1860 when Henry Bunzer is listed as applying for a pension from Knox. My (John Elberfeld) assumption is that Bunzer is a misspelling of Bunzey
