BERNE — Ford F. Bunxey, 67, of Sickle Hill Road, died Dec. 17 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany following a brief illness. Bunzey was born in West Berne, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of the Berne-Knox High School. He worked for the General Electric Co. in Schenectady for 40 years retiring in 1986 as foreman of the Wire Mill Dept. He was president of the Hilltowns Senior Citizens and a member of . St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Berne. He had served as both tax collector and town justice in . the town of Berne at one time.
