John Bundy was born at about 1750.

The name of his first wife and the mother of his children is unknown at this time. His children were:
- Joseph Marchant Bundy Sr.
- John Bundy, Jr.
- Mary (Polly) Bundy
His second wife was Lucy who was previously married and had a daughter Lydia b. about 1801 who was married to John Townsend
Death
John died between July 22, 1828 and October 3, 1828 in the area of Berne that is now known as Knox.
