Nicholas died on December 27, 1842, age 62 and his wife, Elizabeth Miller died on May 2, 1865 age 80. Both were buried on the Old Brunk farm. <ref name=" Records of early burial places "/>

Birth

Nicholas Brunk was born in the Mohawk Valley, of Holland ancestry and was a descendant from one of five brothers who migrated from Holland and settled along the Mohawk River as pioneers. [1] Nicholas was born in 1780. [2]

Occupation

He was a farmer. Nicholas settled in the town of Knox, where he cleared him a farm and made him a home on 130 acres of land. [1]

Nicholas married Elizabeth Miller[[1] at about 1800. Their children:

Death

Nicholas died on December 27, 1842, age 62 and his wife, Elizabeth Miller died on May 2, 1865 age 80. Both were buried on the Old Brunk farm. [2]
