Funeral services were held on Monday for Howard G. Breeze, 62, an agent of the Albany office of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co., for 30 years, who died Saturday (May 1, 1965) at Albany Medical Center hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Breeze also carried on a real estate business in New Scotland where he lived. He had attended Union College and Wesleyan College.
Surviving are his widow, the former Helen McClellan; a daughter, Mrs. Stephen Browne, and a son, John Breeze, both of New Scotland; two brothers, William Breeze of Rochester and Robert Breeze of Castleton, and one grandchild.
Memorial services were at the home in Bullock Rd. in New Scotland with Rev. Thomas Winn officiating.

SCHODACK LANDING -- Robert F. Breeze, of Muitzeskill Road, entered into eternal rest on December 28, 1996 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Lowville, NY on April 30, 1909, he was the youngest son of Professor W.H.F. and Sarah (Gates) Breeze. Mr. Breeze attended schools in Lowville, NY, New Haven, CT, and Springfield MA, at which time his father headed the schools there. He then attended Albany High School. He also was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Merchant Marines. He worked as a Field Engineer for several consulting firms involved in highway construction and sanitary projects. He was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church of Schodack at Muitzeskill and the reired Men's Fraternity of Albany.
Survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth (Steele) Breeze; his nephew, John Breeze of New Scotland, NY; four nieces, Sarah Schutt of Peoria, AZ, Marjorie McClements of Irondoquoit, NY, Nancy Harrison of Rochester, NY and Mary Browne (wife of Stephen D. Browne) of Knox, NY; also survived by their children and a sister-in-law Marion Cox Breeze of Rochester, NY. He was the brother of the late Howard Gates Breeze and William Gates Breeze. Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make donations to the Reformed Church of Schodack at Muitzeskill.
