Charles G. Boyd was born in Rensselaerville at about 1845, a son of John and Mary Boyd. [1][2]

At about 1865 he married Jane, who was born in Scotland at about 1846 and had the following children:

Both Charles and Jane were still living in Amsterdam in 1920, but did not appear on the 1930 census.
