Jacob Boyce, who was born about 1836, was the son of George Boyce (B. abt 1794 Ireland) and his wife Sally (B. abt 1800 NY).[1]

Life
In 1850 Jacob was living in Westerlo with his father George, a laborer, his mother and three siblings.[1] Jacob Boyce was recorded in the 1890 US Veterans Census as living in Westerlo, however no data was recorded on him.[4] He has not been found in other censuses so the man is a mystery at this time.
Death
He died before May 7, 1880, the date his mother received a pension for his service in Company A of the 25th NY Infantry, N.G.[5]
