Birth

Wellington Boughton was born in Rensselaerville, Albany County, NY on June 1,1844. He was a son of Baldwin Bouton and Susanna Almy.[1]

Marriage & Children

He married in Westerlo at about 1873, Maryette, who was born in 1844, a daughter of Nicholas Knowles and Mary Youmans. They had no children.

Occupation

Wellington worked as a farmer before he enlisted in the 7th Heavy Artillery Regt.[2]

Death

Wellington died in 1905 and is buried at the Medusa Cemetery. His wife was still living at age 75 in 1920.
