Birth

Peter Bogardus was from Berne.[1]
Peter Bogardus was born in Berne at about 1842, the son of John and Catherine Bogardus.[2]

Marriage & Children

Peter married Lucretia Emerson in Elkhart, IL in 1867. Lucretia was born in Ogdensburg, NY on February 28, 1846 and died on or about June 10, 1904 at Eldorado, KS.[3] She was the daughter of George and Lucretia Emerson. Peter and Lucretia had 5 children:

  • Unknown child died in infancy
  • Charles b. 1869
  • Adam Henry aka Henry b. 1871
  • Annie b. 1878 married W.O. Piper
  • Winnie b. 1887

Death

Peter died at the hospital at 6:15 pm on February 18, 1923. His son, Henry, was notified and Peter's remains were shipped to Eldorado, KS.[6]
