Mr. Beebe is survived by his wife, a brother, [[Calvin Beebe]], one son, [[Charles V. Beebe]], two daughters, Mrs. Cleveland Palmer and Mrs. Charles A. Vanderpool, beside four grand children and two great grand children.

Old Residents Dead

Jacob P. Beebe and Dr. Isaac S. Becker Pass Away During the Past Week - Both Over 80

During the past week two of Altamont's oldest residents have been called to the great beyond.

On Monday morning at 3:30 the grim reaper too from earth on of our oldest and most respected citizens in the person of Jacob P. Beebe. Mr. Beebe had been in his usual health up to the day before his death when he was about the house and appeared more cheerful than in many a day. His end came peacefully and he died as he had lived, a quiet peaceful Christian life, with not an enemy and hosts of friends. Mr. Beebe was the eldest of four brothers and was in his 84th year. The funeral was held from his late home Wednesday at 11 a. m., Rev. A. A. Frederick of the Lutheran church, preaching the sermon. Interment was at Fairview.
