The marriage of Miss Geraldine Ann Shipley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Shipley, Williamson, Wayne County, to Maver O. Becker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Omer J. Becker, Berne, took place Sept. 17 (1955) in Pultneyville, Vt, Methodist church. The Rev. Leonard B. Whitney, Phelps, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Gordon Knapp, Pultneyville.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attended by Mrs. Jack Pauling, Elizabethville, Pa., as matron of honor, and Miss Donna Henderson, Ontario, her cousin, as bridesmaid. Marvin La Grange, Feura Bush, was best man. Ushers were Kenneth Shipley, Williamson, the bride's brother, and Marvin Becker, Berne, brother of the bridegroom.

The bride wore a ballerina-length gown of white crystalette and taffeta with a V neck line, cap sleeves and cummerbund. Her fingertip veil of illusion was attached to a crown covered with seed pearls and sequins and her bouquet of white roses was centered with red roses.

Both attendants wore gowns of nile green crystalette over taffeta, styled like the bride's. Mrs. Pauling had a coronet and crescent bouquet of rust chrysanthemums and Miss Henderson a coronet and crescent bouquet of gold chrysanthemums.

After a reception in the church parlors Mr. and Mrs. Becker left on a trip to New England and Canada. They are living in Berne.

The bride is a graduate of Williamson Central school and Mansfield Pa., State Teachers College. She is assistant 4-H Club agent in Albany county. The Bridegroom was graduated from Berne-Knox Central school and is a farmer.
