Birth

Andrew was born between 1765-1770, the eldest son of John Armstrong (1736-1814) and Johanna _______.

Occupation

Andrew was a farmer, and in 1813 was Justice of the Peace for the Town of Guilderland. He moved to Charlestown, Montgomery Co., between 1804-1810, and returned to Knox before 1813. He moved to Wright, Schoharie County in 1829, and then back to Knox before 1840.

Marriage & Children

He was married, possibly twice. One wife was Mary Williams (b. 12/12/1800, d. 3/4/1889). His children were:

  • William W. Armstrong (b. 7/9/1817, m. 9/25/1845 Lucinda Schuyler. Moved to Chemung Co., NY in 1864)
  • Isiah, who lived in Wisconsin;
  • Harry or Henry Armstrong (b. ca 1820) and lived in Iowa Falls, Iowa;
  • Jane Armstrong (b. ca 1825-1830, d. 1863 in Cleveland, Ohio)

Death

Andrew died between 1840-1850.
