Birth

Marcus was born in Berne on January 20, 1832, a son of Allen Cooper and Sarah Ann Gifford[1].

Marriage & Children

He married Ruth Wood at about 1851[1]. They moved to Rensselaerville and also lived for a time in Delaware County, and later in Oneida County. They had the following children:

  • Thomas Elmore Cooper[1]
  • George E. Cooper[1]
  • John W. Cooper[1]

Death

Ruth died on April 26, 1895[1]. Marcus died on November 1, 1909.[1] Marcus died in 1910.[3]
