An electrician, Eric was a 50 year member of I.B.E.W. 363 in Harriman, N.Y., also a member of the Hiawatha Grange 1480.

Eric was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Lap Wing.
Death
Mr. Grunwald, entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2007 after a brief illness.

Food Pantry volunteer and a member of the Greenville American Legion Post #291. Surviving are his wife, Toni (Monaco) Grunwald; five children, Ricky Grunwald (Shirlene) of Waldon, N.Y., Michael Grunwald (Eileen) of Northfield, Mass., John Grunwald (Donna) of South Westerlo, Eileen Hallock of Amsterdam, N.Y. and Jeanne Hansen (Robert) of Walton; also 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a sister Matilda Magnetta (Alfred); two brothers, Norman Grunwald (Margaret) and Ernest Grunwald. Funeral service will be Saturday 11 a.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville, N.Y. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
